Fanged Adders by MichellePrebich Fanged Adders by MichellePrebich
I recently re-read Hamlet for my theatre script class and found myself laughing at a line in which Hamlet says he would trust Rosencrantz and Guildenstern as much as "fanged adders".
Honestly, do they look like fanged adders?

HEAVILY inspired by Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (film and play) as well as Hamlet (play durr)

I wanted to comment on this one the other day. Why didn't I?

Actually, Guildenstern does look like a fanged adder. But it's only in Hamlet's imagination, so I think he's alright.

Well, Tim Roth's Guildenstern certainly does have the teeth...

I know! I had to re-watch him clean his teeth in the bathtub scene TWICE so I could get the look of the Player, and it scared the sh*t outta me both times.
(btw RaGAD bath scene = GAYEST scene ever.)

Haha yeah it's pretty random... but hey Stoppard directed it :XD:

You're piece is still kinda in it's sketchy phase, but it's getting there.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever seen a live performance of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead?

My God, I wish. Up until now I've had so little opportunity to do any damn thing that so much spare time and freedom are giving me vertigo. I'm 18 and just finding my feet, but at the first ear of a nearset performance of the play, I'll do my damnedest to go.

....

Why do you ask?

I was curious. I've seen only one and it was a college production. It's such a rarely put on play and so minimalistic that I was curious if you had ever had seen an interesting adaptation of it. :)

I've favorited like 77 million of of your deviations... but no one else shows love to Ros and Guil.

Yay! More Ros and Guil! You should do them a LOT. Hamlet is such a whiny little douche...picking on our boys...and Ophelia...and everyone...
I like how you made HIM the scary-looking one.
