Haha well ... These incarnations of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are from the Film adaptation of the play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead which is a spin off of Hamlet. Gary Oldman who plays Rosencrantz plays Sirius in Harry Potter has been in Dracula, JFK, Air Force one, The Dark Knight, 5th element, State of Grace and so many other films. Tim Roth was mr. Orange in Reservoir Dogs has been in Pulp Fiction, the new Hulk, Four Rooms, Legend of 1900, hes been in a lot more but my mind slips... If you know the play Hamlet GO RENT Rosencrantz and Guidlenstern are Dead, it's a crack up and the performances are amazing :jester:

Since you have such impeccable taste in all other works of art, I shall have to watch this movie. Hooray for obscure films!

Speaking of which, I noticed that you haven't mentioned that you like the chzech filmaker Jan Svankmajer. I strongly reccomend you check out some of his videos on youtube, [link] I think you'll find them wonderful. Particularly his full length movie, Alice.

I second the bit about going to see the Incredible Hulk only because of Tim Roth, even though Edward Norton's alright too ;) Excellent work as usual! I wonder what they're looking at....

You know I was originally going to say that they were being ambushed by the Grotesque (as I see is the quote in your sig :XD: ) I would say they are looking at a yonder cloud or yonder something ;P

Tim Roth is godly. I haven't seen Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, though. It's one of those movies I see recommended all the time but never get around to watching.

I really like the coloring. What did you use?

It's my favorite play and the film is brilliant because of Gary and Tim. So I will be one more to recommend it to you ;P

For the coloring I used black caligraphy ink and water color pencils with a little bit of regular colored pencils. Really a mix of everything =D

the other day i saw a trailer for the incredible hulk and i spazzed. i know tim roth was in it, but when i saw he had a bigger part than i thought, i leaned over to my dad and i was like "OH MY GOD GUILDENSTERN IS IN THE INCREDIBLE HULK." xD

lol, sorry for that, the drawing just reminded me. :)

i really like the way you draw--you capture the actors well here, but at the same time you have a unique style. it's really cool.

Dude, that is the only REASON why I'm going to see that movie. I mean I like Edward Norton too but still. It's Tim Roth. I haven't been able to see his last two movies due to their limited release :(

Thanks! I often get the unique style type of comment and it's really intresting to for me because I try to be consistent in what ever I do but I alway find I'm not :jester:

if you ask me, when it comes to art, it's better to not be consistent. you don't have to change your style all the time to keep variety, but when every drawing looks the same it gets boring. i enjoy your style, it's interesting. <33
