Waiting For Hamlet by MichellePrebich Waiting For Hamlet by MichellePrebich
These two are also going in a larger Collage for my art class but I had to give them their own post.

It's no surprise that Waiting for Godot inspired Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead hence the attire and bowler hats. It's also no surprise that they look a lot like Gary Oldman and Tim Roth...

Painted with inks, strung with twine.
Inpired by Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Beckett's Waiting for Godot.

They're alot better dressed than Gogo and Didi, though.......
I bet they smell better, too....
I like your style. It's very.... uh.... Tim Burton-ish.

haha true, true.

Thank You, Tim Burton's visual aesthetic was (and still is) very influential to me as a wee child.

Hahah! This is brilliant! I mean, this had do be done and you did splendidly. Art-wise. Symbolism-wise. Bloody-fantastic-cross-over-wise.

It's weird, I watched RAGAD before I read Waiting for Godot, and when I read that, I pictured Vladimir and Estragon as wearing similar clothes to the ones Ros and Guil were wearing at the beginning of the movie. :O_o: And now you've gone and done it the other way around :XD: Awesome.

Yeah I watched RAGAD before reading Hamlet and Waiting for Godot... and of course RAGAD the play. So I was all confused way in the begining. I totally pictured Vladimir and Estragon as Rosencrantz and Guidlenstern if they got to be older and in tramp costumes and bowler hats. I love bowler hats :XD:
